Duplo Dubinder DPB-500 Features and Benefits Fully Automatic The maximum benefits of the DuBinder DPB-500 can be realised, through the automation of each Book thickness, Side gluing, Nipping Table, Cover feed positions, and the 4 creasing tools. Two additional creasing tools are also available for the forming of wing backed covers The DuBinder DPB-500, can also be set to run in a completely automatic mode, for maximum productivity Accurate Sensors fitted to the Clamping jaws automatically set up for the Nipping and Cover feed positions and the 4 creasing tools and side gluing discs. An accurate double detector eliminates the possibility of feeding and creasing more than 1 cover. Fine adjustments of 0.01mm can be made to all book positions. Each size change is then stored in the program for future use. Accurate positioning of the covers is further enhanced by a light beam indicator, which automatically allows the operator to check for the correct crease position. Should an incorrect amount of pages be placed into the clamp the Du Binder will automatically stop production. This benefit eliminates expensive re-prints of both covers and inside pages. Milling/Notching A heavy duty motor and high speed steel milling and notching wheel ensures that an accurate and flat spine is prepared prior to gluing. Up to 4mm can be removed from the spine ,when folded sections are being produced Glue Application 3 glue application rollers ensure that each book spine ensures the correct amount of glue applied. 2 glue drums apply the glue, whilst the spinner removes any excess, which is deposited back into the tank . 2 Side glueing discs evenly coat both sides of the spine to ensure that the cover is securely bound to each crease position. Glue coverage along the spine length, is both simple and easy to perform by 2 doctor or scraper blades, which are controlled from the touch screen.
